Campbellfield, Victoria · Est. 1980

Small enough to care. Large enough to serve.

Zantek has designed and built custom control panels in Melbourne since 1980, for Australia's power, mining, water and communications networks. PLC and protection panels, motor control, comms racks for harsh sites: designed, wired, tested and documented under one roof in Campbellfield.

01 — What we build

From a terminal box to a multi-door PLC system.

Every panel is made to order. Bring your drawings and we build to them; bring a functional spec and we design to it.

Ref Line Typical scope Platforms & parts
ZK-01 PLC & control panels Machine and process control from single-PLC cabinets to multi-door systems with remote I/O and HMI. Program loaded and debugged in the workshop before dispatch.

02 — How a job runs

Six steps. One team throughout.

The engineer who reviews your drawings sees the panel through wiring, test and FAT. No handoffs between departments, because there aren't any.

01

Brief & drawing review

Your schematics, motor schedule and I/O list, or a functional spec we develop with you. Gaps flagged before we quote.

02

Design

GA and schematic drawings issued for approval. Components selected to your site standards and preferred platforms.

03

Fabrication & wiring

Built in Campbellfield. Ferruled, labelled, torqued. Gear trays and cut-outs done in-house.

04

Test

Point-to-point, insulation and functional tests. PLC program loaded and debugged on the bench. FAT with your team, in person or remote.

05

Documentation

As-built schematics, test records and AS/NZS 61439 verification ship with every panel.

06

Commissioning & support

On-site integration, PLC and SCADA changes, field-support technicians on call.

03 — Standards & deliverables

What every panel leaves with.

Built to
  • AS/NZS 61439 LV switchgear & controlgear assemblies
  • AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
  • Client specification Utility · EPC · OEM
Shipped with
  • As-built schematics PDF + native
  • General arrangement drawings
  • FAT report & test records
  • Component schedule / BOM
  • PLC program backup where applicable

Every panel is built to AS/NZS 61439 and 3000 and to your specification, then tested and documented before it leaves the workshop.
